The adorable story of Willy Wonka from beloved author, Roald Dahl, has sparked everyone’s sweet tooth for years in cinematic productions. Now is your chance to experience the live performance of this classic story. Now through November 17 at Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston, you can watch this sweet story come to life with 50% off tickets.

The performance tells of the classic adventure Charlie Bucket goes on and the friends he makes along the way as he visits Willy Wonka’s mysterious and spectacular chocolate factory.

With songs from the original 1971 film that starred Gene Wilder (including The Candyman, Oompa Lumpa, and Pure Imagination), and new tunes by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newly, you and your family will be singing along and wearing smiles from ear-to-ear.

The show runs for about 2 hours and includes a 15-minute intermission. There will be ASL and audio described performances taking place on Sunday, November 10th at 2 pm and Saturday, November 16 at 7:30 pm.

This musical kicks off the 39th season at Wheelock Family Theatre, and it will be here in Boston for a limited time, running from October 25 through November 17. The theatre’s 2019-2020 season will also include Little Women The Broadway Musical, The Little Prince, and Bud, Not Buddy.
