34th Annual Cambridge River Festival: Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 12-6pm. Enjoy this annual festival at the banks of the Charles River for jazz, folk, roots, and world music, dance performances, art demos, family activities, and over 100 food purveyors and artisans! Free.

Pride Day at Faneuil Hall: Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10-5pm. Celebrate Pride Day at Faneuil Hall with a lot of live music, performances, and fun. Saturday is also the second day of Pride Week, for more information about the entire week, please visit here.

dParty: Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 6-11pm at Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina in East Boston. Enjoy a fun night of dancing, conversation, music, and more with beautiful skyline views! Admission is free with a donation of new art supplies (valued at $10 or more) for the Boston Boys and Girls Club or $10 cash donation at the door.

Free Movies at Simons Imax at the NE Aquarium: Sunday, June 2, 2013 (*the correct date–sorry about the confusion!). The Simons Imax at the New England Aquarium is opening up their doors on Saturday for four free showings of the popular The Last Reef 3D and Penguins 3D at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.

Free Sailing Open House: Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 1-4pm. The Boston Sailing Center is offering free sails on Boston Harbor with an experienced sailor on Saturday.

Free Fishing Statewide: Saturday, June 1, 2013 to Sunday, June 2, 2013 at your favorite fishing spot statewide. No fishing license needed this weekend! Enjoy some free fishing on a beautiful day!

Carnaval at SomerStreets: Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 12-4pm on the streets of Somerville. Enjoy a motion parade with the mayor, music on two stages, a farmer’s market, scavenger hunt, family activities, and more. Free.

Kid Price Saturday at Franklin Zoo: Saturday, June 1, 2013. Pay and feel like a kid the first Saturday of every month at Franklin Park Zoo between 10 a.m. & noon for just $11. Head to Stoneham, MA to the Stone Zoo between 10am-12pm and pay $10 for admission.

Bank of America’s Museum on Us Weekend: Saturday, June 1, 2013 & Sunday, June 2, 2013. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per person, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate.
