We’ll cheers to this: cocktails on the go are finally here in Boston. Governor Baker permitted the temporary order as a response to COVID-19 earlier this week.
What you need to know before ordering:
- The to-go cocktails to-go allows for takeout of up to two drinks, per each entree ordered (64 oz of cocktail total)
- Cocktails must be sealed with a lid or cap
- You must have your ID in order to pick up cocktails
- Cocktails can also be included in deliveries, however, you also must also show ID
Here’s a handful of restaurants participating in to-go cocktails.

Brigid is a woman on the go in Boston. When she's not working for a large advertising agency in the city, you can find her running along the Charles, at a local arts market, practicing her right hook at her neighborhood boxing gym, or seeing as many concerts as she can. But don't blink or you could miss her.
