Viewpoint

Views, views, views. Certainly something Boston does not lack! You can easily find expansive views of the city in every neighborhood. Grab your camera and check out a few of these viewpoints in Boston.

Harborwalk Lookout Terrace, Boston, MA

The Lookout Terrace boasts beautiful views of the Downtown Boston skyline and the Harbor. Don’t be surprised if you see people taking engagement photos or even getting married on the steps, it’s a perfect view for a backdrop. With tons of take-out restaurants in the Seaport, the Lookout Terrace has steps that you can enjoy your meal on and view.

Boston University Bridge, Cambridge, MA

Ah, the BU Bridge. One of the only locations in the world where you can sail a boat, under a train, which runs underneath a car, driving under an airplane. Nonetheless, it’s also a fantastic view of the city from the mid-way point. A local secret is that the BU Bridge is also a great place to check out fireworks on the 4th of July Holiday.
The newest addition to South Boston, the Six West Rooftop offers delicious (yet pricey) drinks and snacks and a view of the Boston skyline. A great atmosphere for a birthday celebration, or a perfect Instagram photo.
Arnold Arboretum, Jamaica Plain, Boston

A free outdoor plant and tree museum, the Arboretum has beautiful views of not only plants, but the Boston skyline. Peters Hill is the highest point on the Emerald Necklace and also has a great view of the city.
