Monday, March 17, 2014 is Evacuation Day in Boston which means metered parking in Boston will be free. Keep in mind that this holiday is for Suffolk County, so free parking is for Boston only. Don’t blame me if you get a ticket in Somerville!
Also, in the past, the 2-hour parking limit was still enforced for Evacuation date if my ever-aging memory serves me right. However, BostInno is reporting that there is no time limit on Monday.
This holiday is not included on the City of Boston’s listing; however, the city confirmed via Twitter on Friday.
