Boston Calling Block Parties
Free Boston Calling Block Party every Thursday evening from 5-8pm at Dewey Square. Thursday nights May 14 to September 17, 2015.
Landmarks Orchestra Classical Concerts
Free Landmarks Orchestra Classical Concert at the Hatch Shell on Wednesday nights at sunset this summer. Wednesday evenings from July 15, 2015 to August 19, 2015.
Outside the Box
Outside the Box is a free six day music festival on Boston Common with local and national acts. Earthfest 2015 is taking place during Outside the Box Music Festival this year. July 14-19, 2015.
Boston Harbor Hotel’s Summer in the City
Boston Harbor Hotel’s Summer in the City program offers free music on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-10pm at BHH’s Courtyard. Runs now until September 9, 2015.
Berklee’s Summer in the City
Berklee’s Summer in the City Series offers over 200 free music performances all over the city. Runs now through September 27, 2015.
Free Harborwalk Sounds at the ICA happens on Thursday nights from 5-9pm this summer with free music. (Reminder: ICA admission is also free on Thursday nights). Thursday nights from July 9 2015 to August 27, 2015.
Concerts in the Courtyard
Boston Public Library’s Concerts in the Courtyard has free music every Wednesday night at 6pm and Friday afternoon at 12:30pm in the courtyard at the Boston Public Library. Runs now through August 28, 2015.
Summer Midday Music
Free Midday Music at Post Office Square with music on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-2pm at Norman B. Leventhal Park. Now through August 27, 2015.
Friday Afternoon Concert Series
A different local band will perform from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Fridays for a Friday Afternoon Concert Series in Sam Adams Park at Faneuil Hall. Kicks off July 10, 2015.
Dorothy Curran Concert Series
The Dorothy Curran Concert Series has four shows all on City Hall Plaza this summer and is the longest running outdoor concert series in Boston. July 15, July 29, August 5 and August 12 at 7 p.m.
Berklee Greenway Concert Series
Head to the Rose Kennedy Greenway on Wednesdays for the Berklee Greenway Concert Series with free music on Wednesday evenings from 5-7pm. Runs now until August 19, 2015.
Berklee at the Prudential Center
Every Tuesday from 12-1:30pm, bring your lunch to the courtyard in the Prudential Center for free music provided by Berklee School of Music. Every Tuesday in June and July with rain dates in August.
Kendall Square Summer Concert Series
Kendall Square Summer Concert Series starts at noon throughout the summer with free live music. Runs now and end date not known.
Summertime @ the Street
Free Acoustic Evenings on Thursdays from 6-8:30pm and Sundays from 12-2pm with performances from Berklee School of Music with Summertime @ The Street in Chestnut Hill. Runs now through September 19, 2015.
Kid Concerts on the Harborwalk
Stop by Waterfront Plaza for three Kids Concerts hosted by Stacey Peasley from 5:30PM to 6:30pm on Tuesday, August 4, 11, and 18, 2015.
Assembly Row Summer Music Series
Free Summer Music Series at Assembly Row in Somerville on Monday and Thursdays at 6:30pm. Now until September.
