Ibotta is a app for smartphones (iPhone & Android) that offers many money-saving opportunities for products you buy everyday. They have special offers for many common products, and you just upload your receipt to the app when you buy a product on the list.
Many stores like Target, CVS, Walmart, Rite-Aid, Walgreens and more participate, but no New England grocery store has been added to the list quite yet.
Once you earn $5 or more, you can transfer your savings to PayPal. Right now Ibotta is doing a special offer (Ends TODAY, Friday, 1/13/13 at NOON) for $5 FREE by just downloading the App through a friend‘s referral link.
Please note, that you will not receive the $5 if you download the app without going through a referral link from a friend, and you won’t see the $5 in your account until you redeem your first offer by January 17, 2013.
Ibotta added Android recently, so I haven’t had too much time to play around with it yet, but I have heard all positive things about from Ibotta so far! Have you tried Ibotta yet, what do you think?
