CapeFlyer Discount ticketsIf you are looking to the head to the Cape this summer, but don’t want to drive, you may want to take the train!

CapeFLYER is a weekend passenger train that runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The train travels from South Station to Hyannis with stops in Braintree, Brockton, Middleborough/Lakeville, Wareham and Buzzards Bay.

Tickets aboard CapeFLYER is $22 for a one-way ticket and $40 for a round-trip ticket when leaving from South Station, Braintree or Brockton to Hyannis. Tickets are less if traveling from a different South Shore town or for a Wareham or Buzzards Bay arrival.

Also, kids 11 and under can ride free and seniors or persons with disabilities can ride for half off the regular fare with proper ID.

Right now, Groupon has discount tickets aboard CapeFLYER for $25 for a round trip ticket from South Station, Braintree or Brockton to Hyannis.

Even better, use promo code OFF to save $5 off purchases of $20+, $10 off $40+, $15 off $60+ or $30 off $100 or more. The promo code ends tonight and some restrictions may apply.

If you are purchasing one round-trip ticket with the promo code OFF, you can get round-trip CapeFLYER tickets for $20, which is half-off regular price!

Keep in mind there are a few terms and blackout dates including Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day weekend. However, this is a great deal if you are heading to Cape Cod this summer on a non-holiday weekend and want to avoid traffic!

If you are looking to take the CapeFLYER this Sunday and served in the military, you and one guest can ride for free on Sunday. You can find more information here if interested.
