Local Massachusetts breweries will be hosting a beer festival this weekend and the best part is, you don’t have to leave the house.
This Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. EST and ending at 5:30 p.m., “The Fest” will be taking place on Facebook Live and Zoom, and will include live interviews of brewers on their beers, breweries and what’s new in the industry.
Participating breweries include Lamplighter Brewing, Widowmaker Brewing, Sam Adams, Jack’s Abby, Harpoon, True North Ale, and more. A full list of The Fest breweries that are participating here.
How does it work? Each brewery is tapped to bring forward one beer to the festival. Participants can purchase those beers by easily picking up either a Fest Box from participating retailers or purchase the selected beers at your local beer and wine stores.
Tickets to The Fest cost $5. You can grab your ticket here from Eventbrite here. Each ticket gives you exclusive access to the private festival, home the Facebook group, and Zoom access information.
All proceeds will benefit the Project Bread nonprofit, a Boston-based nonprofit that works to address food deficits and hunger. I think we can all cheers to that!
