Opening our Doors: Monday, October 8, 2018. Opening our doors in the largest FREE day of cultural offerings for the family with free admission to the Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, The Mary Baker Eddy Library, and MUCH more!

Free Ferry Day: Sunday, October 7, 2018. Hop aboard for a free trip to George’s Island or Spectacle Island for the last weekend for the season! Free tickets are from Boston only and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

40th Annual Oktoberfest: Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Harvard Square. Enjoy this annual Oktoberfest with food from all over the world, arts, crafts, beer gardens, and the 13th Annual Honk! Parade on Sunday.

OysterFest: Saturday, October 6, 2018 at The Lawn on D. Enjoy oyster shucking stations, Guinness Draft truck, live Irish music, games, and more!

SoWa Open Market: Every Sunday May to October from 10-4pm. Enjoy this award-winning open market with local artisans, farmers, musicians, food trucks, and more!

Greenway Open Market: Every Saturday (and 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month) from 11-6pm until October. Enjoy handmade local arts and crafts, food trucks, and more!

Kid Price Saturday at Zoo New England: Pay and feel like a kid the first Saturday of every month (October-March) at Franklin Park Zoo or Stone Zoo for the price of kids admission!

Bank of America’s Museum on Us: Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7, 2018. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per cardholder, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate.

Harvard Art Museum: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Saturday morning from 10am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency
