Inexpensive Wedding Dresses for Military Brides!

I recently heard about this organization, and I love it already! Brides Across America are helping military brides find their dream wedding dress for $20 which is a tax deductible donation. There are two bridal shops in Massachusetts that will be participating on select days in November, but there are numerous bridal stores around the country running events if you or someone you know in the military not currently located in Massachusetts.

These special bridal events are taking place starting November 6, 2012 to November 24, 2012 and pre-registration is required. There are also certain qualifications like you must be currently engaged or have had a civil ceremony within the last 18 months as well as military identification. To see if you qualify, please click here and for more information about the organization and upcoming events in your area, please click here.

How awesome!

Return your Boston Public Library Book fine-free for First Three-Weeks in November

The Boston Public Library is launching a campaign for the first three weeks of November to encourage people to return overdue books back to the Boston Public Library. From now until Thanksgiving, simply head to the library and return your library book(s), CD, or DVD without any fines attached! If an item is permanently lost, you would only need to pay replacement costs instead of any late charges. So grab that very late library book, and bring it back to the shelf fine-free.
