Happy (almost) weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all those moms out there! If you are a mom or plan to hang out with mom this weekend, Mom can get in free to many attractions this weekend including zoos, amusement parks, and more!

Lilacs at the Arnold Arboretum: Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Arnold Arboretum. Stop by the Arnold Arboretum (maybe with your mom?) and check out over 380 lilac plants! Family activities, food vendors, and more will also be present. Free.

Boston Bike Week Festival: Friday, May 9th to Sunday, May 11th from 7-9pm at City Hall Plaza. Help kickoff Bike Week in Boston with free breakfast, music, vendors and more!

Fort Point Open Studios: Saturday & Sunday, May 10-11, 2014. Stop by the Fort Point neighborhood to check out art from local artists!

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

The Women in Comedy Festival is this weekend in Boston and you can receive discount tickets through Goldstar Boston (affiliate link) for a few of the comedians!

If you are still looking for fun things to do this weekend in Boston, the circus is ending this weekend but you can still find discount tickets to the Big Apple Circus!

Discount Tickets to the Blue Man Group in Boston

If you are looking for discounted tickets to the Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse in Boston, you may want to check out Goldstar Boston for tickets. Producers are looking for people of all ages and ethnicities to represent Boston in the 1970’s and 1980’s for an upcoming movie Black Mass that tells the James “Whitey” Bulger story, which stars Johnny Depp.

Sports Illustrated Cover Shoot: Saturday, Aril 12, 2014 at 7am near the Boston Marathon Finish Line. Show your Boston Pride and be part of the Sports Illustrated cover shoot on Saturday morning.

Boston National Poetry Month Festival: April 10-13, 2014 at the Boston Public Library, Copley. Enjoy this 14th Annual Festival with readings from emerging poets and more. Free.

Phillips Candy House Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11-4pm at Pope John Paul II Park. Phillips Candy House is sponsoring the 22nd Annual Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Spring Egg Scramble with 10,000 toy-filled eggs. The Easter Bunny will make a guest appearance from 2-4pm. Bank of America’s Museum on Us Weekend: Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 2014. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per cardholder, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate.

*Note Update: Kid Price Saturday at Franklin Zoo: Pay and feel like a kid the first Saturday of every month at Franklin Park Zoo between 10 a.m. & noon for just $11.95. Head to Stoneham, MA to the Stone Zoo between 10am-12pm and pay $6.95 for admission.
