DAY-TIME DATE IDEAS IN BOSTON
This 281-acre of land is a great spot for a date. Walk around the oldest public arboretum in North America. While picnicking is prohibited, you can walk and take in all the beautiful flowers and wildlife, and stop at some scenic park benches along the way.
BlueBikes are a fun activity that also incorporates physical fitness. Renting a bike for 30 minutes is just $2.95, with each additional 30 minutes an extra $2.50. Conclude this cheap date with sitting on the docks of the esplanade and watching the sun go down.

If you and yours are more adventurous, kayaking on the Charles River may be for you. With five rental locations in the city, kayaking is easy to get to, and a fun inexpensive day-time date.

Everything’s coming up roses on this date. During the summer months, the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden is in full bloom. This secret garden is located in the Boston Fens, and a close walk to a Fenway restaurant for a drink afterward.
Trust us, this easy-going ride is a great date idea. From now until Labor Day the Swan Boats will be floating around the Boston Common. At $4.50 a ride, fifteen minute ride will take you around the entire lagoon.
Every first Thursday of the month, the Gardner Museum is free, the catch is you have to sign-up in advance. Soak in the beauty with your significant other at the museum.

It’s easy to stay within your budget at the Market. Time Out features bars to order drinks and often live music and showings of Boston Sports on their main screen. This cute date idea is perfect if you want to just grab a drink, or quick app together.
Sunset is really when the Seaport Harborwalk shines. Take your date on a stroll around the miles-stretch and soak in the views of the city.
