I am going to apologize in advance: this is going to be a lousy and different from other Weekend Happening Posts. I’ve been super busy renovating my new house, which is getting entirely overwhelming, especially since we just found out our new furnace was delivered defective! Luckily, it appears to be a nice and warm fall weekend ahead! Hope you all can get out and enjoy the weekend for me!
Anyway, this weekend is Veterans Day and there are a lot of freebies and great events happening for our Veterans in Boston and Nationwide. There are also other great Veteran’s Day events happening in Boston like the Veterans Day Celebration at the State House on Sunday, November 11, 2012 starting at 10 a.m. open to the public.
If you are not a Veteran and are looking for some cheap fun, I highly recommend enjoying free entrance day at all National Parks from Saturday, November 10, 2012 to Monday, November 12, 2012 where admission is free to every 398 national park! So great especially since it is going to be in the sixties this weekend!
