Federal Parks Lifetime Seniors Pass for $10 for a Limited Time

Free National Park Days Boston

If you are 62+ (or have parents or know someone who would be interested), the Federal Parks Lifetime Pass is increasing from $10 to $80 on August 28, 2017.

The Lifetime Pass includes access to all federal parks, lands, and water for $10 + $10 processing fee for LIFE for seniors 62+.

This is a great deal considering admission to many of the parks on the list charge more than $10 admission to begin with and may include 50% off amenity fees and other perks. This is also not an annual pass but a lifetime pass with no yearly fees.

The “America the Beautiful” National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass series is valid at over 2,000 federal recreation with many options in Massachusetts like Cape Cod National Seashore, Adams Historical National Park,  Minute Man National Park and more.

Keep in mind that there is about a 3-month wait to receive a pass due to an increase interest in the pass so if you need it soon, you may want to go directly to a participating site.

Marshfield Fair Discounts and Deals for 2017

The Marshfield Fair is from August 18-27, 2017 from noon to 10PM daily at the Marshfield Fairgrounds on the South Shore of Boston.

Admission is $10 and Children under 6 are FREE at the gate. Parking on-grounds is $5.

However, there are a few discounts & deals available for the Marshfield Fair on certain days:

  • Sunday, 8/21: Ride ticket special: 30% off all rides all day and night
  • Tuesday, 8/22: Senior Day where seniors get in free!
  • Wednesday, 8/23: 4H & Agricultural Awareness Day: 4H Plymouth County members wear your 4-H t-shirts for free admission!
  • Thursday, 8/24: Children’s Day: Free Admission for Children 12 & Under + 50% off all kiddie rides & wristband special available

Marshfield residents receive half off admission ($5 admission) on Friday, August 18 & 25, 2017 from 12-6pm with proof of residency.

Pre-sale tickets are available until Thursday, August 17, 2016 at 6pm for $7 and are good for any day of the fair. Pre-sale ride tickets are $24 for 10 rides with some exclusions. For pre-sale tickets, please call 781-834-6629 or visit the fair office at 140 Main Street in Marshfield.

Also, Mega Pass tickets are on sale at Walgreens through Thursday, August 17, 2017 for $35 weekdays and $40 weekends and includes one admission and one wristband.

There are also wristband specials on select days and times for $18-30 per wristband, and you can find more information here. Wristbands are available at Fiesta Shows Customer Service on the day of the special but does exclude some rides like bumper cars and the Rock Wall.
