Revere Beach Kite Festival: Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Revere Beach from 11-2pm. Enjoy this annual kite festival & the first 300 kids will receive a free kite to decorate and fly!

Fresh Pond Day: Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 11-3pm in Cambridge. Enjoy wildlife presentations, parade, live music, kids activities and much more for this annual Fresh Pond Day

Canobie Lake Park: Rescheduled to Saturday, May 20, 2017. Moms get in FREE this Saturday at Canobie Lake Park when the weather should be a little nicer!

Home Sweet Home: Saturday, May 20, 2017. Many of the Trustees historic sites are FREE this weekend for Home Sweet Home Open House Day including Old Manse, Fruitlands Museum, and the Great House at Castle Hill!

Community Boating Open House: Saturday, May 20, 2017 by the Charles River from 10-2pm. Head to Community Boating on Saturday for their open house where you can join their free orientations every hour!

SoWa Open Market: Saturdays and Sundays through October from 10-4pm. Enjoy the largest celebration of local artists, farmers, chefs, musicians, and more in Boston!

Greenway Open Market: Every Saturday (and 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month) from 11-6pm until October. Enjoy handmade local arts and crafts, food trucks, and more!

Harvard Art Museums: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Saturday morning from 10am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

If you are looking for a great walk this weekend for a great cause, the 2017 Boston Walk for Epilepsy is this Saturday at Pope John Paul II park as well.

Friday is National Bike to Work Day and a great reason to ride your bike to work on Friday, May 19, 2017, if possible.

Also, head to City Hall Plaza on Friday, 5/19/17 for a FREE Bike to Work Day Festival where there will be celebrations for riding your bike to work.

There will be several bike convoys in and around Boston and the route will finish at City Hall Plaza where there will be free breakfast, coffee, and music.

Make sure to prove you rode your bike to work with a helmet, Hubway key, spandex, etc. for the free breakfast and coffee.

Below is the schedule for the free bike festival in Boston:

6:45 AM: Meet with convoy.
7:00 AM: Convoys depart (except from Concord)
7:30-8:30 AM: Convoys finish at City Hall Plaza
7:00-9:00 AM: Free breakfast and expo

Head to Dunkin’ Donuts on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 10-2pm for a FREE 3.5 oz sample of their new Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee at participating restaurants nationwide.

The Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee is replacing the Coffee Coolatta and this is a great chance to check it out for FREE!

Free Music in the City this Summer from Berklee!

As the weather warms up, Berklee students, alumni, and faculty perform throughout the city this summer for Summer in the City.

Berklee College of Music hosts this free concert series every summer with over 200 performances at various outdoor venues throughout Boston from the Prudential Center, Boston Public Library, Downtown Crossing, Kendall Square, The Lawn on D, and much more this summer!

There’s so many ways to catch free music this summer with so many dates and venues to choose from!

Even better, the free music series has already begun and will last until late September.

From June 23, 2017 to August 25, 2017, The Highland Street Foundation sponsors Free Fun Friday where 85 Museums and Cultural Events throughout Massachusetts are FREE on Fridays this summer.

This is a great opportunity to check out local museums and attractions in Massachusetts for FREE this summer! (Don’t forget to check out the Discount Attraction page if you can’t make it on the day below to save money on local attractions)

Lilac Sunday: *Date Change to Saturday, 5/13!* Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 10-3pm at Arnold Arboretum. Head to the Arnold Arboretum for tours of the lilacs and other collections, family activities, food vendors, and more!

Springtime Spectacular at The Lawn on D: Saturday, May 13, 2017 at The Lawn on D starting at noon. Enjoy activities all day for all ages, live music, games, and much more!
