Presidents Day Winter Fest: Monday, February 20, 2017 at Hancock Adams Green, City Hall in Quincy from 4-7pm. The City of Presidents is celebrating their first annual Presidents Day Winter Festival with live entertainments, activities, and much more! Free.

Free Zipline, Alligators, and More in Boston this Long Weekend!

Kissimmee Free Zipline Boston

Experience Kissimmee is bringing a little bit of Florida sunshine to Boston on Saturday, February 18, 2017 to Monday, February 20, 2017!

Join Experience Kissimmee for a Freezin’ Gator Zipline at Dewey Square this weekend from 11 AM to 5 PM! (Although, you may want to come early to ensure a spot because lines will close when they are at capacity).

In addition to a 200 foot zipline you can also meet LIVE alligators from Gatorland Orlando, color your world at the Crayola Experience Orland coloring tent, enter to win a FREE Kissimee, FL vacation and more!

If you are interested in the free zipline, you do need to sign a waiver and have parental consent if you are under 18. You also must be between 75 and 250 pounds for the zipline.

This event is free and open to the public but if you feel generous, please bring a gently used coat to donate to a community charity.

Free Ice Skating at Boston Common Frog Pond During February Vacation Week

Highland Street Foundation is sponsoring Winter Camp which provides free activities for children and families during February Vacation week.

As part of Winter Camp 2017, Highland Street Foundation is sponsoring FREE Ice Skating at Boston Common Frog Pond from Monday, February 20, 2017 to Friday, February 24, 2017!

Here are the available free skating times available February 20-24:
  • Session 1: 10:00-11:30 am
  • Session 2: 12:00-1:30 pm
  • Session 3: 2:00-3:30 pm
  • Session 4: 4:00-5:30 pm
  • Session 5: 6:00-7:30 pm
  • Session 6: 8:00-9:30 pm

Free winter camp at Boston Common Frog Pond consists of free admission, skate rentals, skating aids, and lockers.

Also, on Thursday, February 23, 2017, Boston Common will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland with snow slides, snow maze, toboggans, snow-shoeing, and more!

Valentines Maker Market: Sunday, February 12, 2016 at The Eddy in East Boston from 11-4pm. Shop for loved ones or yourself with a variety of local hand-crafted goods.

Somerville Local First Valentine’s Market: February 12, 2016 at Arts at the Armory in Somerville from 11-4pm. Enjoy over 40 local vendors and shop for a love one this Valentine’s day. Free.
