This Saturday, September 29, 2012 is the second annual College Day at Fenway Park! College students can attend this event at Fenway for free with a valid college ID from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Gate B. If you have dreamed about being an extra in a music video at Fenway Park, alas your dream has come true! McEroy Films are looking for extras for a Brian Evans music video that will be shot at Fenway Park after the game, roughly around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Ryan Newman placed in the top 10 at another NASCAR race over the weekend, which means another FREE Bloomin’ Onion. Tomorrow, Sunday, September 23, 2012 is the Allston Street Fair from noon to 6 p.m. on Harvard Avenue in Allston. This event is open to the public and all ages. The Allston Street Fair is multicultural festival that offers a wide variety of music, international foods, family entertainment, giveaways and more!
The event is also free, but all event proceeds will benefit the Allston-Brighton communities. For more information and directions, please head to their website here.
I know I mentioned yesterday that tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 22) is College Night at the New England Revolution game but I also wanted to highlight two more events coming up especially for College Students!
If you haven’t heard or bought your tickets yet, CollegeFest is tomorrow and Sunday (Sept. 22 & 23) at the Hynes Convention Center. CollegeFest attracts more than 17,000 local students with live music and tons of free stuff and swag! Tickets are $15 for both days, and you can buy tickets through eventbrite (for a few more hours) or you can grab them at the door. (Tip: Check their facebook page to see if you can get in for free by being a press person!)
Also, on Monday, September 24, 2012 is College Night at the Museum of Science! Visit after 5pm to receive Free Admission with a valid college ID! For more information, please click here.
Saturday, September 22nd is College Night at Gillette Stadium for the New England Revolution game which starts at 7:30pm. A pre-game party will start inside Gillette at 5:30pm that includes free food, a DJ, games and contests. Tickets are $15 and include one ticket to the Revolution-Red Bulls match, free parking and access to the pre-game party! All college students are welcome and encouraged to attend!
