If you are taking the T on Saturday, the MBTA Red Line will have bus service between Park and Kendall/MIT all day, so something to keep in mind.

Opening Our Doors: Monday, October 13, 2014 from 10am-4pm: Enjoy a day of free cultural experiences with a lot of museums opening their doors for free like the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, MFA, The Mary Baker Eddy Library, and much more!

Harvard Square’s 36th Annual Oktoberfest: Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 12-6pm. Enjoy food from all over the world, crafts, vintage goods, music, dancing, and more!

Honk! Festival: October 10-12, 2014. Enjoy a festival of activist street bands with a lot of free music and fun!

Street Performer Fall Festival: October 11-13, 2014 from 11am to 7pm at Faneuil Hall. Enjoy street performers from all over at this fall street performer festival!

Haunted Happenings in Salem: Fun events daily in Salem, MA. Salem has a lot of haunted happenings this October including a free movie night sponsored by Radio 92.9 every Saturday night. This week’s free movie night under the stars is Hocus Pocus.

Chocotoberfest at Taza Chocolate: Every Saturday in October from 1-4pm at Taza Chocolate in Somerville. Celebrate fall with a tasting of goodies! Free to attend.
