Flash Forward Festival: May 1-4, 2014 at Fairmont Battery Wharf. Celebrate art and photography with many free events around town!

Taza Cinco de Mayo Celebration: Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 12-5pm. Enjoy free samples and music to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Free.

Somerville Open Studios: Saturday & Sunday, May 3-4, 2014 from 12-6pm. Check out local art from local artists in Somerville this weekend. Free.

Arts First at Harvard: May 1-4, 2014 at Harvard University. Check out Harvard’s annual showcase with free performances and more!

31st Annual MayFair at Harvard Square: Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 12-6pm. Enjoy dancing, music, food, crafts and much more to celebrate the arrival of May at Harvard Square!

Opening Day at SoWa Vintage Market: Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 500 Harrison Street. The food trucks return with many different designers and food and farm vendors.

Free Comic Book Day: Saturday, May 3, 2014 at participating comic stores. Stop by a participating comic book store to receive a free comic book!

Walk for Hunger: Sunday, May 4, 2014: Participate in the largest one-day fundraiser in alleviating hunger. The 20-mile route begins and ends at Boston Common with a beautiful route through Boston, Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Cambridge.

Free Outdoor Bootcamp: Sunday, May 4, 2014 at City Sports in Porter Square at 10am. Enjoy a free outdoor bootcamp class for one hour, please RSVP in advance.

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Bank of America’s Museum on Us Weekend: Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, 2014. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per cardholder, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate.

Kid Price Saturday at Franklin Zoo: Pay and feel like a kid the first Saturday of every month at Franklin Park Zoo between 10 a.m. & noon for just $11.95. Head to Stoneham, MA to the Stone Zoo between 10am-12pm and pay $6.95 for admission.

If you are still looking for fun things to do this weekend in Boston, the Big Apple Circus is still here, and will be leaving May 11th! There are discount tickets to the Big Apple Circus too!

Also, the Red Sox are back in town, and you can find a lot of tricks to saving money at Red Sox games!
