Are you looking for some fun and free things to do in Boston this weekend? Well, here’s a few ideas!

Fire & Ice: A Winter Festival in Union Square: Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 3-6pm in Somerville. Celebrate being cold and getting warm with pro fire spinners, ice sculptures, family-friendly activities, and more!

Afternoon Delight at Improv Asylum: Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Improv Asylum (216 Hanover Street). Take in a mid-afternoon laugh at the Improv Asylum. Discount tickets are $10 + service fees via Goldstar Boston (affiliate).

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Free Boston CrossFit: Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 12-1pm. Every Saturday enjoy free (indoor) CrossFit class in the Back Bay.

Kids Free Winter Weekends at Old Sturbridge Village: Every weekend through March, 2014, head west to visit the Old Sturbridge Village where kids get in free!

Bank of America’s Museum on Us Weekend: Saturday and Sunday, March 1-2, 2014. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per cardholder, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate.

Free Admission for Kids at Zoo New England: Saturday and Sunday, March 1-2, 2014. Kids can get free admission (with a paid adult) at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo!
