Here is some fun and inexpensive things to do this weekend in Boston without breaking the bank!

Boston Pride Week Continues: Ending Sunday, June 14, 2015. Boston Pride week is underway and the Boston Pride Parade kicks off at 12pm on Saturday.

Boston Dragon Boat Festival: June 13-14, 2015 along the Charles River. Every year 30-40 teams from the US and Canada compete over a 500-meter course in an energetic race.

National Get Outdoors Day: Saturday, June 13, 2015. Apparently it is National Get Outdoors Day, so make sure to get outside and have some (free) fun!

Quincy Flag Day Parade & Celebration: Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Quincy, MA. Pay tribute to old glory with the longest-running parade of its kind. Free.

Chelsea Art Walk: June 13-14, 2015 from 12-6pm in Chelsea, MA. Visit art galleries and alternative venues in Chelsea to check out local art!

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Harvard Art Museums: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Saturday morning from 10am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

The Red Sox are also in town and if you are interested in hitting Fenway this weekend make sure to read Red Sox Games on a Budget!

Also, just a reminder that you can hit the South End Open Market at SoWa every Sunday as well as take a free trolley to Columbia Point on the weekends to check out museums and more!

    There is a free event in Davis Square, Somerville on Saturday, June 13th, 3:00pm-6:00pm, the Squeezebox Slam 2015, a celebration of accordions, button boxes and other free reed instruments. It will be accordion anarchy with Lady Kielbasia, an Accordion-Playing Drag Lunch Lady. She’s been voted Best Drag Queen with an Accordion in San Francisco, and was named Provincetown’s Family Favorite.
