Happy Fourth of July Weekend!! Here’s some fun things to do this weekend if you are around celebrating the Fourth in Boston!

Don’t forget to check out Free Friday Events in Boston and Massachusetts if you are looking for something fun to do on Friday!

Harborfest: Now until July 5, 2015. Celebrate Independence Day with a lot of fun events and fireworks on Saturday night in Boston.

Improv Boston: July 4, 2015 in Cambridge. All comedy shows by Improv Boston are free on the Fourth of July.

Bank of America’s Museum on Us: Saturday and Sunday, July 4-5, 2015. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per cardholder, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate. {Holiday schedules may be in effect}

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Sunday Parkland Games Begins: Every Sunday starting Sunday, June 28, 2015 through August 30, 2015 from 3:30pm-6pm in Cambridge. Free Sunday games along the banks of the Charles River every Sunday in the summer as well as yoga at 5pm.

Also, the MBTA will be free on Saturday after 9:30pm and meters are free all day on 7/4/15 for Fourth of July celebrations! If you are looking for fireworks outside of Boston, Boston Central has a pretty good list of Greater Boston area firework displays.
