My name is Kate and I started Boston on Budget in the summer of 2012 as a way to motivate myself to save money as well as have fun experiences in Boston! I started to compile a lot of free activities, cheap eats, discounts, and more and thought others may be interested too!
So many things have happened in the 4+ years after started Boston on Budget. I saved + bought a house with my husband, changed jobs, received my Master’s degree, and welcomed two new additions to my family– only one with paws!
Whether you lived in Boston your whole life or visiting Boston for the first time soon, I hope you find this blog helpful. I like to share the best inexpensive things to do, see, and eat in the city for the season! Hopefully you will discover new and fun things to do in Boston while saving money at the same time!
