Congratulations if you are graduating this weekend! :) Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend. A few of these events below have rain dates, so make sure to check to see if the event is still on or has been moved to the rain date. Fingers crossed for a beautiful weekend!

EarthFest 2014 (link has sound): Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the DCR Hatch Shell at 10AM to 5PM. Radio 92.9 annual free concert featuring Neon Trees, The Wailers, Smallpools and Morning Parade. Free and free swag too.

Le Grand Continental: May 16-18, 2014 at Copley Square. Enjoy this free community-wide, first-ever, outdoor dance extravaganza in the heart of Boston. Free and open to the public.

Franklin Park Kite & Bike Festival: Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11-4pm. Enjoy a day at Franklin Park to fly a kite, picnic, rent a free bike and more. Kites will be on sale for a few dollars if you need one. Free.

Revere Beach Kite Festival: Sunday, May 17, 2014. Enjoy a day of kite flying and fun at this annual kite festival. The first 300 kids under age 12 will receive a free kite!

PorchFest: Saturday, May 17, 2014 on porches (and more) in Somerville from 12-6pm. Musicians will hit their porches all over Somerville to perform for you in this fun community event. Free.

Visit Nova Scotia: May 17-18, 2014. Nova Scotia is coming to Boston this weekend with a lot of fun activities and a chance to win Red Sox Tickets and/or win a trip to Nova Scotia on the new Nova Star cruise ferry!

Free Sailing Open House: Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 1-4pm. Boston Sailing Center is offering free sails on Boston Harbor on Saturday afternoon.

#SundayRunday 2: Sunday, May 18th, 2014 at 11am starting at Park Street. Join Runkeeper and local runners for a run around Boston with different courses for different lengths.

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Also, this is the last weekend of the Jordan’s Monster Repeat, so if you think the Red Sox will win the World Series this year, make sure to stop by Jordan’s.

This is also the last weekend of the Shaw’s Monolopy game with it ending on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Last time my store ran out of tickets before the last day but the time before they were doubling and tripling tickets in the last week– so make sure to redeem those free ticket coupons soon if you’ve got them and check for rare game pieces!

Happy (almost) weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all those moms out there! If you are a mom or plan to hang out with mom this weekend, Mom can get in free to many attractions this weekend including zoos, amusement parks, and more!

Lilacs at the Arnold Arboretum: Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Arnold Arboretum. Stop by the Arnold Arboretum (maybe with your mom?) and check out over 380 lilac plants! Family activities, food vendors, and more will also be present. Free.

Boston Bike Week Festival: Friday, May 9th to Sunday, May 11th from 7-9pm at City Hall Plaza. Help kickoff Bike Week in Boston with free breakfast, music, vendors and more!

Fort Point Open Studios: Saturday & Sunday, May 10-11, 2014. Stop by the Fort Point neighborhood to check out art from local artists!

The Women in Comedy Festival is this weekend in Boston and you can receive discount tickets through Goldstar Boston (affiliate link) for a few of the comedians!

If you are still looking for fun things to do this weekend in Boston, the circus is ending this weekend but you can still find discount tickets to the Big Apple Circus!

Discount Tickets to the Blue Man Group in Boston

If you are looking for discounted tickets to the Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse in Boston, you may want to check out Goldstar Boston for tickets. Producers are looking for people of all ages and ethnicities to represent Boston in the 1970′s and 1980′s for an upcoming movie Black Mass that tells the James “Whitey” Bulger story, which stars Johnny Depp.

Sports Illustrated Cover Shoot: Saturday, Aril 12, 2014 at 7am near the Boston Marathon Finish Line. Show your Boston Pride and be part of the Sports Illustrated cover shoot on Saturday morning.

Boston National Poetry Month Festival: April 10-13, 2014 at the Boston Public Library, Copley. Enjoy this 14th Annual Festival with readings from emerging poets and more. Free.

Phillips Candy House Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11-4pm at Pope John Paul II Park. Phillips Candy House is sponsoring the 22nd Annual Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Spring Egg Scramble with 10,000 toy-filled eggs. The Easter Bunny will make a guest appearance from 2-4pm. I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for the first weekend of April– especially since this is the first weekend of Red Sox baseball at home! Spring is in the air!

Bank of America’s Museum on Us Weekend: Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 2014. Bank of America & Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into select museums the first weekend of every month for free by showing their bank card (per cardholder, not family). Museum of Fine Arts, MIT Museum and other museums across the state participate.

*Note Update: Kid Price Saturday at Franklin Zoo: Pay and feel like a kid the first Saturday of every month at Franklin Park Zoo between 10 a.m. & noon for just $11.95. Head to Stoneham, MA to the Stone Zoo between 10am-12pm and pay $6.95 for admission.
