2017 Entertainment Books for $10.40!

Entertainment.com

Last month I posted a deal for the Entertainment Books, and ended up taking advantage of the deal myself. This deal is .40 more than the deal last month, but a great deal for the 2017 Entertainment Books at $10.40 with free shipping (affiliate).

The Greater Boston Entertainment Book includes coupons for national and local companies throughout the Boston area including restaurants, museums, retailers, and much more!

The book usually pays for itself with just one or two coupons. For example, there are Buy 1, Get 1 Admission Tickets for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Admission is $15 to the Art Museum so the book would pay for itself!

The book is great if you love to dine out or head to a lot of attractions– and great for families as there’s a lot of attractions for little ones! There’s a b1g1 admission ticket for Edaville Railroad in Carver, which is a great coupon since admission is usually over $30 a person!

If you are active and use coupons, this is a good book to throw in your car or bag.

For more information or to purchase a 2017 Entertainment Book, please head here.

Deals and Discount Tickets for The Boston Duck Tours

Discount Boston Duck Boat Tickets

The Boston Duck Tours can be fun experience for kids, Boston tourists, and more! However, tickets for the popular duck boats are not cheap.

Tickets for the Boston Duck Tours are $39.50 for adults, $33 for adults 62+ and military members, $27 for children ages 3-11, and $10.50 for children under 3, including newborns.

Ticket prices do no include the 5% Convention Center Fee and online orders are subject to a $2 per ticket fee and phone orders are subject to a $3.50 per person ticket fee.

Luckily, there are a few different ways to save on Duck Tour Tickets in Boston:

*Some links may be affiliate links and I receive a small thank you for purchasing through my link, so thank you!

  • Goldstar Boston: Discount tickets through Goldstar Boston for $28.32 (+ service fee) for selecting tours/dates departing from the Museum of Science, availability may be limited {check back as availability can change throughout the year}
  • Early Duck DiscountSave up to $9.50 per ticket with Early Duck Discount by booking a 9AM or 9:30AM Tour from the MoS or Prudential Center. Early Bird tickets are $30 per adult, $28 for seniors/military, $24 for children 3-11, and still $10.50 for babies for online and phone orders only + ticket fees.
  • Family 4-Pack: Families can get 4 tickets for $110, which includes 2 adult tickets and 2 children ages 3-11 tickets from the Museum of Science Location, not available on Saturdays, ticket booth or phone reservations only.
  • Group Rates: Groups of 20 or more can receive special group pricing, up to $8.50 off tickets for groups of 20 or more, or rent a whole duck boat for a group, service and gratuity fees extra.
  • Go Boston Card: Free tickets to the Boston Duck Tour for Go Boston Cardholders available in select packages/choices.
  • Daily Deal sites: LivingSocial and Groupon will occasionally post daily deals for discount duck boat tickets. LivingSocial usually has more offers, the beginning and end of the tour season typically, but no daily deal has been available for the 2017 tour season as of yet.

The Duck Boat tour is 80-minutes in length and depart from the Prudential Center, The New England Aquarium, and the Museum of Science. However, sometimes you can get better deals if you leave from one location over another. (There’s usually less deals and specials from the New England Aquarium location, for example).

If you are looking for another option to buy duck tour tickets from besides directly from the source or Goldstar Boston, you can check out Viator.

Tickets through Viator are full-price ($43.48/per adult) BUT if you are a new user/new e-mail subscriber sometimes you can get special offers like 10% off your first purchase at Viator (that’s the current offer that popped up for me anyway) or you can get a free $10 credit if you sign up through a referral link. Special offers or free credit can definitely help bring the price down and make for a decent deal, especially if the other offers above don’t work for you.

Let me know if I missed any great deals or discounts for the Boston Duck Tours in the comments below!

Have you taken a Boston Duck Tour before? Will you be going on a duck boat soon?
